The six cores of the Xeon E7530 give the processor extremely efficient performance, being able to handle a very large number of applications, and a high server load. The CPU uses Intel Hyper Threading technology in order to perform more efficiently, thus increasing the quality of performance. The Xeon E7530 uses Intel Turbo Boost technology in order to allow every active core to reach it's full power when required. When compared to another Intel processor from the Xeon line, the E3110, the E7530 has several advantages, including a larger number of cores (six compared to two), a bigger cache (12MB compared to 6MB), and a larger number of technologies (including Intel Hyper Threading and Intel Turbo Boost).
