It features two 90nm Prescott cores on a single die with 1MB of L2 per core, giving it a total clock speed of 2.8GHz. Note that the D 820 lacks Hyper-Threading and EIST, as well as support for Intel's x86 virtualization. However, the D 820 supports Intel 64 (formerly EM64T), XD Bit, and an LGA775 form factor. It is guaranteed to work on CPUs based on 945-, 955-, 965-, and 975- series Intel chipsets, plus the nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition and ATI Radeon Xpress. The Intel Pentium D 820 retails for $99.99 and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
