$250.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1The Intel Core i5-430UM is a low voltage processor aimed at thin and light notebooks. The Core i5 UM line has a 28% lower TDP than their standard Core i5 counterpart. This means less heat and lower power usage allowing these low voltage processors to fit into portable notebooks designed to be used away from power outlets.

Whilst the 430UM is a low voltage processor, it is still based on the same Core i5 technologies retaining the same set of features including turbo boost (up to 1.73GHz from 1.2GHz), Intel Virtualization Technology, and enhanced Intel Speedstep. Notebook computers featuring Core i5-430Um offers buyers a balance between performance and portability.
