Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300

$262.00 Released October, 2008

Product Shot 1The Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 is a 1.20 GHz, 800MHz FSB processor with 3MB Cache and falls in the upper half of Intel's line of Core 2 Duo Processors. Although it has a lower clock speed, FSB speed and cache, it has a 45nm architecture, supports BGA956 sockets for laptops and has other advanced technologies seen in the upper models, such as Intel Trusted Execution Technology and Intel Virtualization Technology.

All processors in this line have 2 cores (hence the name) meaning they have two distinct processors on one chip allowing them to work seperately or together on a single large task. These processors are very energy efficient thanks to Intel Wide Dynamic Execution, which gives more instructions per clock cylce, and with Intel Intelligent Power capability. Intel Smart Memory Access optimizes the use of available bandwith while Intel Advanced Smart Cache runs a more efficient cache subsystem for multiple cores. Intel Advanced Digital Media Boost will help accelerate a wide variety of applications, including video, photo processing, encryption, financial, engineering and scientific applications.
