Intel Core 2 Duo P7450

The Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 is a 45nm, medium-voltage dual core 'Penryn-3M' microprocessor. A successor to the Merom-core, the 'Penryn' Duo P7450 includes several advances, such as the addition of SSE4 and new fabrication materials.

It hosts a 1066 MT/s front side bus and 2.13GHz processing speed, as well as a much improved 3MB L2 cache size. Additional features of the Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 processor include Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology, Intel EM64T, and Execute Disable Bit. The P7450, however, unlike its peers (P7350 excluded) does not include Intel VT or TXT. And unlike its immediate peer (P7350), it also does not feature IDA (Intel Dynamic Acceleration). The Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 retails for $229.99 and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
