The processor is part of Intel's Z-series, the successor to the Intel A100 Series, and introduces a wider range of processing types with lower TDP values.

The lower value translates to higher energy efficiency, longer battery life out of a charge, and less heat generated by the system. The Intel Atom Z515 has a clock speed of 1.20 Ghz, 512k cache, and 400 Mhz FSB speed (memory). It is also a 32-bit processor and is only compatible with 32-bit versions of available operating systems.
