The lower rating translates to higher energy efficiency, longer battery life out of a charge, and less heat generated by the system. The Intel Atom Z510 has a clock speed of 1.1 Ghz, 512k cache, and 400 Mhz FSB speed (memory). The processor is designed for 32-bit systems and is only compatible with 32-bit versions of available operating systems.

Model Variations

The Intel Atom Z510 has two model variations, the Intel Atom Z510P and the Intel Atom Z510PT. They share the same clock speed, FSB speed, and L2 cache, but have two threads instead of the Intel Atom Z510's one. Additionally, the alternative models support hyper-threading technology, have a TDP of 2.2 watts instead of 2 watts, and support the FCBGA437 socket.
