This energy efficient processor is rated at 2.5 watts TDP, meaning very little electricity is required for this chip to function. Most netbooks with this processor will use around 15 watts of total power, an amount considerably less than a full-sized notebook computer. Supported processor features include MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SpeedStep power management, XD bit virus protection and Hyper-Threading technology. As a 32-bit processor, a wide variety of operating systems are compatible including Windows 7.
