Product Shot 1The Intel Atom D410 is a 45nm processor for embedded desktop motherboards, most often found in nettops. Set to be released in early 2010, this will be the successor to the Atom 230 processor. The single core Atom D410 features a faster 1.66GHz clock speed, 512KB of L2 cache and a FSB speed of 665MHz.

This energy efficient processor is rated at 10 watts TDP, meaning very little electricity is required for this chip to function. Most nettops with this processor will use around 40 watts of total power, an amount considerably less than a full-sized desktop computer. Supported processor features include MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, Intel 64, XD bit and Hyper-Threading. Users have the option of running a 64-bit operating system on this chip as well, such as Windows 7 x64.
