The Sempron LE-1200 is one of AMD's energy-efficient, budget 65 nm processors, largely meant to compete with Intel's Celeron D line. The LE-1200 has a processing speed of 2.1 GHz, 512KB of L2 cache, and a low thermal design power of 45W.

The LE-1200 supports AMD's 3DNow! basic vector processing, which is designed to improve graphics performance. The processor is single-core and performs 64-bit processing. It has 800MHz of hypertransport speed, and the retail box includes a heat sink and fan.
