Product Shot 1The AMD Sempron 200U is an embedded microprocessor designed specifically for use in ultra-thin notebooks or other thin devices like digital signs. Currently it is unavailable for individual sale. It uses 65 nm technology and has a maximum sped of 1 GHz.

It has support for numerous digital media instructions and an integrated DDR2 memory controller. It also has a single HyperTransport link, allowing point-to-point speeds of 800MHz and 6.4 GB/s of bandwidth. It also has 256KB of L2 cache. The Sempron 200U is capable of simultaneous 64- and 32-bit processing. The 200U has a very low thermal design power of only 8W.
