AMD Athlon X2 7750
$90.00
Released December, 2008
The Pros:Fast speed. Dual core is all you generally need these days - very few applications are written to take full advantage of any more. This processor is based off the k10 phenoms. It is actual a x4 with two cores turned off. You can there for OVERCLOCK this proc. faster than a quad core.
The Cons:High TDP - although fair, matches last generation while outperforming. Requires an AM2+ motherboard, regular AM2 users might not be able to take full advantage of this chip.
